Worst tint experience I’ve ever dealt with. I went with Jay because he offered mobile service, it came with a warranty and his price seemed fair $485.00.
Jay tinted my car, I tipped him generously. About a week later the tint was bubbling/ hadn’t cured properly so I reached out with these pictures asking about a warranty. He acknowledged that the tint was “ugly as hell” but said he couldn’t provide me with a warranty because my car is old (2003). I asked if I could maybe get a partial refund instead of a warranty to save us both some time, and he responded by sending me a picture in his shop that reads “no warranties”. After going back and fourth with him for about a day he begrudgingly agreed to cover it under warranty and scheduled me an appointment….. for over three months later. Three months go by and Jay shows back up to replace the tint. Pouting, stomping, throwing a tantrum the entire time. Calling me over to make excuses on the “dust” on the windows and the “old window seals” are why the tint doesn’t look right. I go inside the office and a few hours go by, I get a text saying not to roll the windows down for three days, I look out to my car and Jay is gone. Just left. Tint strip trash on the floor, car keys in the ignition (key on). I go out to my car to inspect the tint and big surprise, bubbles everywhere, arguably worse than before. It’s still early so MAYBE some of the bubbles clear out, but I doubt they will.

If this whole experience cost me $200 I wouldn’t be upset about it. But paying top dollar for this is ridiculous. Go to Chinos instead. He doesn’t do mobile, but it’s worth your time/money.

Call them yesterday, he was able to schedule me next day! Text me appt updates and communicated very well! Length of appointment was about a hr which he told me it would be! Gave great instructions for afterwards. Overall, great experience! Definitely sending friends/family to see him in the future! Jay is the man!!! Hands down! Fast, kind and reliable as they come! I had my car ( Snowflake❄️) done about two months ago, I've been all over the states since then working so haven't had the chance to make a review until now. His work is TOP NOTCH and his time to do it is unbeatable! Thanks so much buddy I'll be back for the windshield and my fiance' vehicle! Thank so much brother, I highly recommend to everyone! ♥️🙌🏽

Jay came to my rescue and fixed the tint done by another establishment. He was able to schedule me the day after I called and was very reasonably priced. Took about an hour and a half which included stripping the old tint and putting on the new. Highly recommend!

I give my experience at 5 Starz Window Tint and Car Audio - 5 Stars! I was driving through Goodlettsville, TN on my way home to Tuscaloosa, AL, when I saw the ratings for this business, as I had been wanting to get my windows tinted for quite a while. I called Jay and he fit me right in! His price was reasonable, he does great work, and he had me in and out and under 90 minutes. All of the great reviews I read on Google were definitely trueI! I highly recommend Jay and 5 Stars Window Tint and Car Audio. I am very pleased with his work!
